The new Facebook facelift is allegedly ready for release to the public. Developers of Facebook applications have been told to get their applications ready for the integration of the new look asap.
“We know you’ve been working hard getting your applications ready for integration with the new profile. Thank you for working alongside us. We’re close to the starting line – when users can start opting in to see the new site. We recommend you have your applications ready by Sunday evening so that users’ first experience with your applications on the new profile will be a great one.”
The new look aims to make your Facebook page more user friendly and less cluttered with tabs, drop down menus etc:
There doesn’t seem to be any official word on when exactly it’s going to be released, but you can head on over to http://www.new.facebook.com to check it out for yourself.
