As far as I can tell the year is 2008, we have made significant progress in gaming that leaves your jaw wide open and wallets empty as the technology available is expensive but worth the cash in most cases. Now switch back to 1994 and see the progress made on gaming experience since then and feel lucky that we can now have games looking this good and enjoyable to play, that is how I felt until I bought FIFA 09!

Bearing in mind it is on the PS2 and not on one of the next gen consoles I expected some graphical limitations but not what was waiting for me. Now having spent £25 on the actual game and having pre-ordered PES 2009 for a mere £17.99 I expected a lot from FIFA 09 especially when they hold a majority of the licensing and there is a lot hype surrounding the game, it’s even become the fastest selling game since it’s release.

I’m not sure what to say at this currently, I’m sitting here pretty frustrated and shocked on how bad this is. The gameplay, the graphics, the shocking AI, the menu system, the sluggish response the list is endless. This is game is so bad that now I have decided never ever ever ever to buy another FIFA game again!! Never ever! That’s it. I’ve spent £25 of my hard earned money (allegedly) on a piece of dog shit game that should be sitting on a shelf labelled 80’s retro games, it is just awful, how they can charge £25 pounds for this game is only down to the brainwashing that these fanboys from FIFA will buy the game year in and out. Wake up and smell the dog shit you f*ucking fanboys, you are ruining the joy of gaming for the rest of the world by buying this stupid, retarded excuse of a game and filling the pockets of those fat jackets sitting in a corrupted regime on world football.

If you were even considering purchasing this shocking excuse of a game you’ll be better off paying someone to rip your eyeballs out.
